Innovate Moreton Bay boosting businesses

Innovate Moreton Bay connected hundreds of thinkers and tinkers through major and networking events during 2022-23, according to a new report.
The Impact Report 2022-23, released by the City of Moreton Bay and Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism (MBRIT), showcases the key achievements and outcomes delivered under the Innovate Moreton Bay program.
It highlights Innovate Moreton Bay’s contribution to the city’s innovation ecosystem by supporting, developing and growing the city’s startups and entrepreneurial network.
Key achievements include delivering major events, workshops and speaker events, monthly social catch ups, case studies and #TeamMoretonBay delegations.
Suite of events
Innovate Moreton Bay delivered major events, including Creative Industries Demo Days, the Sustainability Demo Day, the Moreton Innovations Day, and Techstars Startup Weekends.
There were also 50 innovation ecosystem events, which attracted more than 1500 people, and 189
networking events supported by Innovate Moreton Bay platforms.
Innovate Moreton Bay distributed 42 eDMs to subscribers in 2022-23, with a 45.06 percent open rate.
Thriving innovation ecosystem
MBRIT CEO Natassia Wheeler says Innovate Moreton Bay is committed to delivering positive outcomes for the City of Moreton Bay.

“They enabled me to enhance and redevelop the product, while also providing invaluable industry guidance.
“This pivotal juncture marked a significant turning point in the trajectory of my business.”
