Lucky Strathpine players share in $736,000 Saturday Gold Lotto win

A jovial group of 10 Strathpine shoppers have had their lives changed after their syndicate scored division one in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw.

Each lucky winner will take home roughly $70,000 each after their syndicate won a total of $73,601.87 in prize money.

Shares into the winning syndicate were sold at Nextra Strathpine, Shop 36 & 37 Westfield Strathpine, 295 Gympie Road, Strathpine.

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4269 on 19 June 2022 were 37, 11, 27, 1, 22, 34, while the supplementary numbers were 44 and 43.

However, as some of the syndicate members were unregistered, they may have yet to discover their division one winning news. Players are being urged to check their tickets today.

Nextra Strathpine owners Deb and Emmett Bailey say they are thrilled one of the store’s regular weekly syndicates had hit it big.

“This is absolutely incredible, and we’re so excited,” Deb says.

“The syndicate is made up of games for each night of the week and there are still four more draws to come so more chances for the syndicate to win another prize!

“Our last division one winning entry was sold right before COVID hit. We were just saying this week that we would love to see one of our syndicates win a major prize.

The Lott spokesperson James Eddy is encouraging anyone who purchased a syndicate share into the recent Saturday Gold Lotto draw to check their entries as soon as they could.

“Each syndicate member won more than $70,000,” he says.

“If you purchased a Saturday Gold Lotto syndicate ticket from Nextra Strathpine, today’s the day to check it!

“If you discover you’re holding a winning share, call us on 131 868 to start the prize claim process!”

More chances to win

There are more chances to win big with tonight’s Oz Lotto is offering $10 million, while Thursday’s Powerball has $40 million up for grabs.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $11.09 million for draw 1577, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $16.01 million for draw 10594.
