National gong for local team

Brizscapes, based in North Lakes, has been named champion in the Landscaper category at the 2025 Australian Trades Small Business Champion Awards.
The awards recognise outstanding trades-based small business operators across Australia and were presented at The Hyatt Regency, Sydney, on August 29.
In 2025, more than 50 trade categories across retail, services and manufacturing were contested.
Brizscapes stood out in the Landscaper category, impressing an independent panel of expert judges. Assessment criteria included business strategy, growth, financial performance, sustainability, innovation, customer service excellence and community contribution.
Awards Founder and Managing Director of Precedent Productions, which runs the awards program, Steve Loe says: “Being selected as a Champion from a nationwide field speaks volumes about the tenacity and leadership of Brizscapes.
“Tradies form the backbone of Australia’s small business economy. With long hours, tough labour and the pressures of ownership, it’s vital we acknowledge the businesses that perform at the highest standard, and Brizscapes is one of them.”
A Brizscapes spokeswoman said: “This win is not only a huge honour for our team, but also a proud moment for the Moreton Bay community”.
