A new Moreton Island cruise has launched just in time for the school holidays. River to Bay’s fast boats will be operating on June 29 and July 6. We reveal what the cruises will offer.
The cruises will leave from Sandstone Point Hotel’s jetty at 9am for a snorkelling tour of the Moreton Island wrecks.
Enjoy the vibrant coral, friendly marine life, and the golden beaches of Moreton Island with your family and return at 1pm.
The family friendly tour includes fish feeding as you swim or from the boat and snorkelling in the home of the turtles, dolphins, and Wobbegong who share the coral with more than 200 species of fish.
With crystal clear water close to shore and abundant wildlife, the wrecks offer one of the best snorkelling locations in Australia.
River to Bay guides will help passengers with their equipment and point out the wildlife as they swim around them.
Children under three years of age are not permitted. The tour is not suitable for people with back or heart conditions, or pregnant women.
