Here’s a list of some of the most popular New Year’s Eve celebrations in Moreton Bay.

Wamuran Sports Complex Hall

When: Sunday, December 31 from 6.30pm-12am

Where: 84 Campbells Pocket Rd, Wamuran

Cost: $60

Wamuran Sports Complex is hosting a New Year’s Eve party with classic hits from the 60s and 70s. There will be a fancy dress contest with prizes, lucky door prizes and the option to bring your own beverages. All proceeds go to support the Lions Club of Wamuran and its charities.

Sunny’s Margate Beach

When: Sunday, December 31 from 5-6.30pm or 7-8.30pm

Where: 1 McCulloch Ave, Margate

Cost: $79

Sunny’s Margate Beach is hosting a two-course meal for anyone looking for a quiet New Year’s Eve. You can choose between two dining times for either an entrée and main or a main and dessert.

Bribie RSL

When: Sunday, December 31 from 6pm-1am

Where: 99 Toorbul St, Bongaree

Cost: $22.49 or free entry

Celebrate New Year’s Eve with high-energy, five-piece band Bobby Longstaff Allstars. Doors will open at 6pm for ticket holders and at 7pm for non-ticket holders. Ticket holders will also receive guaranteed auditorium seating and a drink of choice upon arrival.

Morayfield Tavern

Morayfield Tavern is hosting a New Year’s Eve special that the whole family can enjoy. The bistro’s ‘Superhero New Year’s Eve’ is a family-friendly event with dress-ups, face painting, $500 in family giveaways and children get to eat for free. It’s the battle of the decades at Redcliffe RSL this New Year’s Eve. Dress in your best 70s or 80s inspired outfits and vote for which decade is the best. Take photos in the RSL’s photo arena and party all night long.
