There are heaps of events happening on New Year’s Eve in the Moreton Bay Region. Here’s a list of free and ticketed events and where you can see fireworks.

Sandstone Point Hotel
What: Sandstone Point Hotel is hosting a New Year’s Eve VIP Disco Party. It includes a four-hour beverage package, walk’n’fork menu, private bar and DJ to boogie down to.

Bribie Island Hotel
What: Aussie music legend is headlining Bribie Island Hotel’s New Year’s Eve celebrations, supported by Nana’s Pie. The beach party-themed event includes midnight countdown with bubbles and prizes for best dressed.
When: From 8pm, hotel obviously open earlier

Accelerate Church
What: Celebrate the New Year with Accelerate Church, which is hosting a family friendly celebration with plenty of entertainment. There will be face painting, jumping castles, colour wars (colour run), games, line dancing and live music.

Redcliffe Markets
What: End 2022 with a double bang at the Redcliffe Markets’ New Year’s Eve Party, which will have two spectacular fireworks displays to bring in the new year. The family friendly event will include pop-up markets, gourmet street food, free entertainment for all ages, sideshow alley. The fireworks are on at 7pm and 9pm

Redcliffe RSL
What: Redcliffe RSL patron will rock’n’roll all night with the Kissperience, paying tribute to the glamour band best known for extravagant costumes and make-up. The tribute band will be playing in the Kokoda Room.
When: Doors open at 8pm for 8.30pm show

ERA Bar and Grill
What: ERA Bar and Grill at Redcliffe will host a New Year’s Eve pary with four-hour drinks package, substantial canapes and 80/90s DJ.

What: Take It BACK To Da Old School party with DJ playing all the hits from the 80s and 90s.

Norths Leagues and Services Club
What: Roll back the clock to celebrate the New Year with Norths’ Made in the 80s NYE Party. The event will feature entertainment from 80s tribute show, Made in the 80s. There will also be canapes and three-hour drinks package

What: Bring in the New Year with the world’s No.1 ABBA show, Bjorn Again, at Eatons Hill Hotel. The event includes four-hour drinks package, fork food, and welcome cocktail

What: North Lakes Sports Club is hosting a Pop, Fizzle and Clink event on its Banyan Deck. It includes a glass of bubbles on arrival, live soloist, roaming canapés during the event and the chance to share your 2023 goals on the New Year’s resolution wall.
