Overtime drama in grand final

Redcliffe Leagues Netball Association celebrated its 2020 season on Saturday with plenty of grand final drama, especially in the Under 12-13 Division D final.

Pacific Waves and Aria Lightening were tied in normal time and again after two sessions of overtime. It was only in the third overtime that Pacific Waves nudged ahead to win 31-27.

Pacific Rapids took out the Under 16 Division A, Aria Splash the Under 15 Division B and Wicked Wildcats the Under 14 Division C. Coaches awards and Netball Spirit trophies were also presented.

Grand final results:

Division A: Premiers – Pacific Rapids beat Thunder Storm 46-38
Division B: Premiers – Aria Splash beat Aktive All Stars 38-30

Division C: Premiers – Wicked Wildcats beat Aria Asteroids 35-14

Division D: Premiers – Pacific Waves beat Aria Lightning 31-27 in overtime.
