Two of the biggest names in the canine world will be at Redcliffe KiteFest on September 17 and 18.

The kids will go barking mad when Bluey and Paw Patrol hit the Sesame Lane Main Stage for two separate stage shows on both days.

Tickets are already selling fast for this year’s event as families book their spot early for South East Queensland’s biggest kite festival.

The event is proudly presented by Moreton Bay Regional Council, and supported by Major Partner, Tourism & Events Queensland, Kites Queensland, and Major sponsors, Ausbuild and Sesame Lane.

It is being delivered by Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism (MBRIT).

This is the first time Redcliffe KiteFest will include two headlining live children’s shows.

Mayor Peter Flannery says the Moreton Bay Region is the place to be these September school holidays.

“There are no bigger names in canine show business and they’re both coming to Moreton Bay,” Mayor Flannery says.

“It’s TV come to life at one of our most popular events and I can’t wait to see the excitement on kids’ faces.

“So, get in and get your tickets now. It’d be a Bandit move to have to tell the kids they’ve missed out and Chilli would not be impressed!”

Don’t miss out

MBRIT CEO and Founder Shane Newcombe says tickets are selling fast.

“Since the launch of ticket sales, we have been inundated with support for this year’s Redcliffe KiteFest,” Mr Newcombe says.

“We are very excited to be able to bring our fans a second major children’s show – Paw Patrol - as part of this year’s program.

“This major event has grown to become a family favourite, and the word is definitely out about the huge range of free and low-cost activities available.

“Redcliffe KiteFest plays a big role in supporting our local economy and an important attractor promoting our region to new visitors every year.”
