Peninsula Power will tonight launch their bid for a remarkable NPL Queensland double.

Premiers Power face Lions, who finished the regular season in fourth, at AJ Kelly Park, Kippa-Ring in the Semi-Final, kick-off 7.30pm.

The winner will play Olympic, runners-up in the regular season, or third-placed Gold Coast Knights in the Grand Final at Perry Park next weekend.

Winning ways

Seven days ago, Power’s players, officials and fans celebrated as the Premiership trophies and medals were presented at a packed AJ Kelly Park.

It was the first time Power had won the NPL Qld title and in doing so became the first club to win the state-level NPLQueensland Men’s, Women’s and FQPL Men’s crowns.

Last weekend Power also saluted four of its junior NPL sides – the Under 13, 14 and 15 Boys’ teams are also Premiers of their competitions, while the Under 16s were runner-up.
