Redcliffe Dolphins Grand Final: Paint the town red and white
Published 9:00am 20 September 2022
Businesses and households across the Redcliffe Peninsula are being urged to paint the town red and white to support the Redcliffe Dolphins who are contesting the Hostplus Cup and Hastings Deering Cup Grand Finals at Moreton Daily Stadium this weekend.
The call has gone out to decorate your business or home with streamers, balloons, signs and merchandise to show your true colours and back the two teams looking for Grand Final glory in the final year before the club enters the NRL in 2023.
Redcliffe Leagues Club, Klingner Rd, will have corflute posters to give away from the middle of this week. They will be available from the reception desk.
A limited number of Grand Final T-shirts will also be available later in the week, from the club’s bottle shop.
Supporters can also show their support on social media, adding a splash of red and white to their profile photos, posting photos of their window displays or themselves donning supporters’ gear using the hashtag #Phinsup
Most importantly, supporters should buy tickets and be there on Saturday to cheer the boys on.
The Dolphins will face Norths Devils in the Hostplus Cup Grand Final (kick-off, Saturday at 3.15pm) and the Hastings Deering Colts side will play the Townsville Blackhawks (kick-off, Saturday at 1.15pm).
Tickets are on sale now. Visit the website for details and to purchase tickets.
They can be purchased from as little as $65 for a family of four. Supporter bay tickets are also on sale and available from the website
Along with the four quality games, there will be activities and entertainment for the entire family including the Shell V Power kick for cash, the Gatorade bolt and McDonald’s sideline experience.
