D’Aguilar

About D'Aguilar

Located northwest of Caboolture, D’Aguilar is a rural town between Wamuran and Woodford. D’aguilar is segmented into rural acreages and rural/residential subdivisions. There is a hotel/motel and general store in the centre of town.

History of D'Aguilar

D’Aguilar was named after Major General Sir George D’Aguilar, a military officer who was the author of Regulations and Punishments of the British Army, an army textbook in use at the time of the establishment of the town. The mountain range that the town is situated in came to be named after the town.
