About Give a Child a Chance
Give A Child A Chance (GACAC) has been supporting local children from vulnerable & dysfunctional families from the 27 local school the since 2017. GACAC currently is supporting 725 children in 2024-25 and expects that number to reach 1000 in 2025-26. GACAC 'Partners' with the parent/guardian to enable the child the opportunity to attain an education equal to their peers. GACAC offers support with uniforms- computers- resources- school camps etc. While there is no limit, the current average annual cost per child is $225.00
The purpose of GACAC is " to enable children from vulnerable & dysfunctional circumstances the opportunity to attain an education equal to their Peers".
