About Carn-Evil @ Mattie Lee
Carn-Evil @ Mattie Lee returns to Joyner with a spectacular Halloween house display featuring hundreds of battery-operated mechatronics, spooky decorations and dazzling lights, all while raising funds for local animal rescue charity Best Friends Felines.
The Halloween attraction will officially open on Thursday, 22 October 2026, with Councillor Cath Tonks attending to mark the occasion. Opening night visitors will be among the first to explore the new displays, with the earlier opening designed to spread out crowds ahead of Halloween.
The event will also feature raffles, lucky door prizes, including a special Money Skeleton prize, and a Spooktacular Shop selling merchandise, snacks and soft drinks. All proceeds will support Best Friends Felines in rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming abandoned cats and kittens.
