Lives Well Lived is inviting veterans and their families to join Anzac Day activities at its Caboolture Hub to honour “the service and sacrifice of our defence forces”.
The Veterans and Families Wellbeing Hub, in King St, will be holding special events before Anzac Day and on April 25.
"Anzac Day holds a special place in our nation's heart, as we remember the courage and dedication of those who have served and continue to serve," Lauralie Knight, Centre Manager at the Veterans’ and Families’ Wellbeing Hub, said.
"We welcome all local current and former ADF members, reservists, their families, and carers to participate in our upcoming free events."
The events include a wreath-making workshop from 9-11am on Wednesday April 24 and a light lunch on Anzac Day itself, Thursday April 25.
Veterans and their families are also welcome to join the Hub team at 10am on Anzac Day for the laying of wreaths at the morning service at Caboolture Cenotaph.
The service will be followed by a free light lunch back at the Hub in 12 King St at 11am.
"We aim to provide a space for attendees to share stories and connect with fellow veterans and their families," Lauralie added.
“Families are encouraged to participate in these activities, fostering a sense of pride and remembrance in our younger generations."
The Veterans and Families Hub is dedicated to supporting veterans and their families. It offers a range of social and wellbeing services to enhance their quality of life.
It is run jointly by Lives Lived Well and the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia (Queensland Branch), in a purpose-built centre with social and wellbeing support for veterans and their families.

Veterans and their families can also welcome to visit the Hub at 12 King Street, Caboolture, during business hours.
