The Belvedere Hotel has lodged plans to add another 35 car parking spaces in addition to the major makeover currently underway at Woody Point.
Plans submitted to Moreton Bay Regional Council involve demolishing the house at 25 Lilla St and outbuildings at the back of 20-42 Oxley Ave.
The cleared land would then be reconfigured and expand the “at-grade car park” to provide 35 additional spaces for customers.
It is in addition to the approval given last year for the Belvedere to extend the hotel and function area.
Construction work is under way on the expansion which is expected to create up to 150 new jobs.
The renovation will bring a café, sports bar, gaming areas and two new bars – one being a first-level lounge and bar area with 180-degree views of the sunset and water.
Plans were to open the new areas in the second half of this year, while the pavilion bar and bistro remained open.
