Cyclones go so close

Peninsula Cricket Club’s Under 12 Cyclones team fell just short of victory in their first match on turf, against Burpengary earlier this month at Filmer Park. 

Both sides were level on runs scored after the first innings, but visitors Burpengary squeezed home by scoring nine runs more in the second innings. 

However, the Peninsula youngsters then had a rare opportunity to mix it with the club’s A graders after their match was forfeited!
