Discover local talent at expo

The free BPW Moreton Bay Business Expo returns on Saturday with the community invited to discover some of the region’s most exciting local businesses.

Now in its fifth year, the Expo at Morayfield Sports and Events Centre, is a showcase of local entrepreneurs, products and services.

Visitors can explore a wide range of stalls featuring everything from creative products and unique services to innovative ideas from businesses across the Moreton Bay region.

“The Expo is a fantastic chance for people to come along, meet the people behind the businesses and discover products and services they may not have known existed right here in our region,” BPW Moreton Bay President Vicki Wood said

“Small businesses are the backbone of our communities, and this event gives people the opportunity to connect with them in a relaxed and welcoming environment.”

A highlight will be the InnovatHER program, where finalists present their business ideas as part of the Expo program.

“InnovatHER is about encouraging and supporting women in business to grow their ideas and gain confidence in sharing them,” Mrs Wood said.

“It’s always inspiring to see the creativity, passion and determination that these women bring to the stage.”

The Expo program will also feature live demonstrations and performances throughout the day, creating an engaging and interactive experience for visitors.

“We are incredibly grateful for the support we receive from our sponsors and from local, state and federal representatives who recognise the importance of backing small business,” Mrs Wood said.

“The Expo is all about connection, opportunity and celebrating the incredible women and businesses that make our region thrive.”

BPW Moreton Bay Business Expo is on Saturday May 23, from 10am at Morayfield Sports and Events Centre. Entry is free.
