Police Hail Operation a Major Success
Redcliffe CIB Officer in Charge Detective Senior Sergeant Lisa Elkins said taking a significant number of alleged offenders off the street was a great result.
“It was one of the most successful operations in recent years across the Moreton region,” she said. “This is a testament to the seriousness of the alleged offences and the significant seizures.”
The operation was led by Redcliffe CIB with assistance from multiple other units.
Detective Senior Sergeant Elkins said, “This is a great example of police working together to bring dangerous offenders to account.”
Police will also be targeting offenders who cause the most harm in our communities as part of the enhanced statewide Operation Yankee Forge over the next six months.
