Thousands of visitors turned out for the Murrumba Christmas Spectacular at John Oxley Reserve on Saturday.

They were treated to a host of entertainment, including performances by Sharni’s Dance Squad, the Northside Soul Sisters, Natasha Rose, Ruby Reds and Friends from Red Music and Dance, the iSEE Church, Wavelength – and an extra special appearance by Moreton Bay City Council Division 7 Councillor Yvonne Barlow, who sang two Christmas carols.

Children and adults alike were delighted by a visit to Santa’s Village after the jolly man in red arrived on a bright yellow Narangba Rural Fire Brigade truck decked out in Christmas finery.

A stunning fireworks display ended the evening at 8pm.

Murrumba Christmas Spectacular is proudly presented by the City of Moreton Bay and delivered by Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism.
