Peking Duk, Vera Blue, Hermitude and The Veronicas are among the all-Australian line-up headed for Sandstone Point Hotel for this year’s For Shore Festival.

With the festival cancelled last year due to COVID-19, the hotel is excited to bring an epic line-up to Sandstone Point on September 25.

After selling out in previous years and receiving rave reviews, For Shore has made a name for itself as a paradise for music lovers that embraces Australian talent.

Comiskey Group marketing manager Toni Forrest says the event brings a diverse mix of vocalists, DJs and musicians together for a sunny day on the bay.

“Known for its epic theming, For Shore keeps the summertime vibe afloat no matter the season,” Toni says.

“After a relaxed daytime atmosphere, the foreshore will become electrified with a production of lasers, lights, fire, confetti canons, streamers and fireworks.

“Adding to the offering is the international food village where you’ll find an array of eats from around the world.”

There will also be gigantic aquatic kites lining the skies and roving characters straight out of the sea, swimming through the crowd.

Who’s on stage?

Headline act Peking Duk will make the Queensland debut of their new live show at For Shore, combining indie electronica flavour with electrifying live sets and an impressive production.

NSW-born pop powerhouse Vera Blue will also take the stage, fusing delicate folk-inspired electronic pop vocals and emotive lyrics.

Known for her song features with artists - including guest vocals in Illy’s award-winning hit Papercuts which peaked in the top 10 on the ARIA charts, Vera Blue is no stranger to successful hits of her own, with Regular Touch a two-time ARIA platinum single.

Hermitude brings a dynamic DJ set, treating the crowd to their catalogue of popular feel-good tracks, while Australian music icons The Veronicas will bring their catchy electropop hits and record producer, DJ and vocalist Stace Cadet will raise the tempo with high-energy dance beats.
