Club to host its biggest ever Aussie Day event

FAMILIES are invited to head down to Bramble Bay Bowls Club on Wednesday for its biggest ever Australia Day event.
The day will feature a Welcome to Country ceremony, Indigenous artwork for sale, barefoot bowls, a thong throwing competition, a huge raffle, free sausage sizzle, drinks and more.
There will also be live entertainment all day, including Aussie Aussie Aussie, who will be playing a wide range of rock classics, as well as Brian Peacock singing an array of covers and originals.
The club received funding through the National Australia Day Council grant to help cover the costs associated with organising this family fun day.
Entry is free and everyone is welcome, with the event being held from 9.30am-6pm on Wednesday, January 26.
Bramble Bay Bowls Club is located on the corner of Hornibrook Esplanade and Victoria Ave, Woody Point.
