The countdown is on to Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival, which starts on Friday, August 4 and continues on August 5 and 6.
Here’s a full preview to the event, including the program, how to get there, how to get tickets, where to park and more.
About the festival
Over three scrumptious days (August 4-6, 2023), more than 15,000 people are expected visit the festival precinct, watch live cooking demonstrations, rub shoulders with celebrity chefs, listen to live music and sample the delights of the Moreton Bay’s amazing food bowl.

Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival will transform Apex Park at Woody Point, on the Redcliffe Peninsula and features a big program of celebrity chefs including Miguel Maestre, Poh Ling Yeow, Alastair McLeod, Kim McCosker and Dominique Rizzo.
General Admission is $25 adults, $20 concession/youth (10-17 years) and free for children aged under 10 years.

Enjoy the ultimate Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival experience at the new Oasis VIP Village, presented by Ray White Aspley Group. Festival-goers who have already bought a General Admission ticket can purchase access to the Oasis VIP Village for $30.
This is a separate ticketed area in the festival precinct where patrons can kick back and relax in comfort with access to

Your chance to win a car
Thanks to Aspley Mazda, Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival is giving away a Mazda CX3. Every person who buys a ticket to the festival goes in the draw, with Oasis VIP Village patrons receiving two entries.
The winner will be drawn on Sunday, August 6 at 5pm. If the winner is present, they will receive $10,000 cash.

Locals discount on Friday
Residents of the Moreton Bay Region can buy General Admission tickets to Moreton Bay Food +Wine Festival for Friday, August 4 only for just $10.
Moreton Bay Region Locals Discount tickets cannot be bought online. They need to be purchased in person from Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism, 433 Elizabeth Ave, Kippa-Ring, by 5pm on Thursday, August 3. Proof of address is required. The office is open Monday to Thursday from 9am-5pm.
Entry to the festival
The festival is at Apex Park, 256 Hornibrook Esp, Woody Point.
There is only one main pedestrian entry gate into the festival. This entry gate is across the road from Bramble Bay Bowls Club at the Victoria Ave end of Apex Park, Woody Point.
The ticket booth is also at this gate.
NOTE: There is no entry gate at the eastern end of the site near The Belvedere hotel.
Festival hours
Friday, August 4: 10am-8pm (bars open until 10pm).
Saturday, August 5: 10am-8pm (bars open until 10pm).
Sunday, August 6: 10am-6pm.
Parking, accessible parking, shuttle bus, transport
Free parking is available in a designated satellite carpark at Pelican Park, Clontarf.
Limited street parking is available in surrounding streets at Woody Point unless signed otherwise. Festival-goers asked to be mindful of residents and businesses in the area and park only where legally permitted.
Limited accessible parking is available onsite in the Bicentennial Park carpark, opposite the festival entry. Access to this carpark is opposite Victoria Ave, off Hornibrook Esp. Patrons will need to show their Disability Parking Permit to gain access. This area will only be accessible during the event operating hours and for 30 minutes before and afterwards.
A shuttle bus will run between the carpark at Pelican Park and the event, picking up about every 15 minutes.
A designated drop-off and pick-up zone will operate next to the festival entry in the Bicentennial Park carpark, opposite Victoria Ave, off Hornibrook Esp. Parking will not be permitted in this area and standing time will be monitored by marshals. This zone will only be accessible during the event operating hours and for 30 minutes before and afterwards.
Taxis and rideshares can pick up/drop off on Hornibrook Esp alongside Bicentennial Park, or they can also use the drop-off and pick-up zone located at Bicentennial Park.
A TransLink bus stop is at the festival entry. You can catch a bus directly or take a train into Kippa-Ring or Sandgate first. Plan your journey here.
