Major new facilities are being built at Sandstone Point Hotel and Holiday Resort – with some open in time for the September school holidays.

A second heated pool, swim-up bar and jacuzzi are to open this month at Sandstone Point Holiday Resort.

Twenty-one new 21 Eco Villas, the first at the resort and a mini golf course are due to open before the December school holidays.

Bali-style beach club

In the following months, the hotel’s Oyster Shed fish & chippery will return as a Bali-style beach club.

After a family holiday to Bali in 2019, Director Rob Comiskey sought a taste of the laid-back experience and offering of beach clubs seen in Seminyak and Canggu.

The Oyster Shed Beach Club, set to open late this year, will have the same Sandstone Point feel but with daytime DJs, more cocktails and new facilities.

Sandstone Point Hotel’s waterfront will also soon be lined with palm trees, bean bags and an all new cocktail bar and restaurant.

Innovations

“We always try to stay innovative and continually improve our businesses,” Comiskey Group Director Rob Comiskey said.

“We aim to keep reinvigorating our venues, giving guests new and exciting facilities to look forward to and enjoy.

“We are always trying to see what’s missing or what we could do better, we even ask our kids!

“A swim up bar is one of my favourite holiday past times and I know my wife would agree.”
