Words by Nick Crockford

Residents in Mango Hill paid their respects to the Anzacs this week.

Before Tuesday’s progress association meeting, scores gathered by the community hall for a service.

Trevor Ruthenberg led the service and Captain Jay Berends the catafalque party from 103 Army Cadet Unit.

The Last Post was played by Stewart Boston-Dart between musical tributes by Dave Norman and Louise Winton, who also sang the Australian and New Zealand national anthems.

Mango Hill’s Anzac Service was closed by Laurence Christie, President of the progress association.
