Markets open over the Holiday season

While some Moreton Bay markets will be taking a break over the Christmas and New Year holiday period there are still plenty markets open so you can still enjoy the buzz of market shopping, the hustle and bustle, the smell of food, the sun on your face and the thrill of a unique or bargain find!
If you want to get out of the house, stretch your legs and go on a hunt through a local market, keep scrolling to find a Moreton Bay market open near you over the holidays.
Redcliffe Farmers and Artisans Market
The Redcliffe Farmers and Artisans Market is held in the most enviable location in the Moreton Bay Region.
Stretching along Redcliffe Parade, right by the seaside, market shoppers can admire the amazing views while they shop, enjoy live music and indulge in delicious foodie finds.
The Redcliffe markets will be open the entire silly season so you don't have to miss out on a Sunday market fix.

Held on December 31st, the Redcliffe Markets New Year's Party will be the place to be in Redcliffe for New Year's Eve!
From 5pm ‘til 10pm you’ll be able to meander amongst a pop-up market wonderland brimming with treasures and trinkets, gourmet street food and hordes of free entertainment for little kids and big kids alike. Featuring highlights such as artisan doughnuts, wood fired pizza, mouth watering calamari and traditional Italian cannoli there'll be no shortage of treats, there’ll be no shortage of treats.
If your idea of a perfect New Year involves a cheeky boogie to live music, look no further. With three main market stages boasting bands, DJ’s and solo performers, even dad will find it hard to resist a little shoulder shimmy.
But let’s not forget what really makes this time of year special... FIREWORKS! Two Fireworks shows will light up the night sky at 7:30pm and 9:30pm.

Old Petrie Town Markets
In Old Petrie Town, the Petrie Markets have a quaint feel and a historically inspired venue. In addition to old-world-inspired bake and lolly shops, market stalls of old-fashioned products, fresh produce and curiosities of yesteryear are lined up. Minstrels stroll the entertaining streets, there's a food barn for hawkers and large green lawns to relax, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy your food. This Moreton Region Market is as much a historical journey as a shopping experience, taking a trip back in time.

Caboolture Markets
Every Sunday over 300 market stalls line the Caboolture Showgrounds north of Brisbane with a range of food, knick-knacks, handmade gifts, plants and art.
You can spend hours browsing through the stores, before delighting your tastebuds by eating through different cuisines and cultures – or you can pick your own fresh and local produce, poultry, meat and seafood to take home and whip up yourself.
The Caboolture Markets are well-known for second-hand treasures, you might just find some art, spare parts, toys, books and jewellery among the hidden gems of the Caboolture Showgrounds. If you’ve bought the kids along, the pony rides, merry-go-rounds, jumping castles and other activities will keep them entertained while you find what you’re looking for.

Bite Markets
