New plan for CBD block
Words by Nick Crockford

One of the largest remaining parcels of land in North Lakes may be subdivided into five lots.

Plans have been lodged to reconfigure the 1.4 hectares at 8-14 Joyner Circuit into five smaller commercial blocks.

The proposed lots would range in size from 2570sqm to 4112sqm, if approved by Moreton Bay Regional Council (MBRC).

The blocks, being subdivided by Cornerstone Healthcare Property (CHP), could be used for such as light industrial, a gym or storage centre.

A previous development application for the site, by the Churches of Christ Queensland was approved by MBRC.

It was for “amusement premises, educational establishment, entertainment library, hardware centre, indoor recreation, office, restaurant, service industry, shop, vehicle hire depot and a veterinary clinic”.
