More than 1000 people brought their four-legged friends to Pooches in the Park at Kallangur on July 23.

The event featured pet-themed market stalls, pooch makeovers, Pupper Picasso, live music, food trucks and more.

Rhythm Rhyme and Sign was a new addition to Pooches in the Park and was gratefully received by a deaf child who was happy to see inclusivity at the event.

The festivities concluded with a doggy parade through the park lead by Council mascot Copper.

Pooches was proudly brought to you by Moreton Bay Regional Council and presented by Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism.

The major sponsor of the entertainment precinct was Big Dog Pet Foods and gold sponsor was Northshore Pet Resort.
