Police investigate Margate blaze

Police have declared a crime scene following a suspicious house fire at Margate this morning.

Emergency services were called to the Chartwell St property about 1am, responding to reports of it being well alight.

Police are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam from that area.

Investigations are continuing.
