Police are appealing for witnesses after a 17-year-old boy was threatened with a knife during a robbery at North Lakes on Thursday, August 29.
They say initial investigations indicate the boy was riding his bicycle along Memorial Dve, near the intersection of Diamond Jubilee Way about 5.35pm with another boy, who was walking beside him.
The boys approached from behind by two unknown males, who were on bicycles.
One of the offenders produced a knife and demanded the victim’s bike, before taking it and fleeing.
How to help
The pair was last seen riding westbound along Memorial Dve, towards Discovery Dve.
Police are keen to hear from witnesses, in particular a male who helped the victim following the attack.
The witness is described as wearing a green hi-vis shirt, work pants, and was riding his bike past the victim and offenders at the time of the robbery.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage of the area around the time of the robbery is urged to contact police here or phone 13 1444.
