Prepare for minor coastal flooding

Moreton Bay City Council is warning residents in low lying areas adjacent to coastal areas to be prepared for minor flooding in the coming days.
Flooding is possible during high tides today through to Tuesday.
Peaks expected each day during this period are:
- Friday, January 12 – 10.18am at 2.69m
- Saturday, January 13- 11.03am at 2.72m
- Sunday, January 14 – 11.48am at 2.70m
- Monday, January 15 – 12.32pm at 2.61m
- Tuesday, January 16 – 1.16pm at 2.47m
Residents are urged to be alert and to monitor local tide conditions by reviewing local tide or storm data via Queensland Governments website https://www.qld.gov.au/environment/coasts-waterways/beach
They can also visit council’s Disaster Dashboard to stay informed https://disaster.moretonbay.qld.gov.au/
