Start your engines, Tribe Social Belonging has launched Miles for Smiles, a new rally which will kick into gear this month.
The two-day event will raise awareness of - and funds for - Tribe, which is based in Redcliffe and supports those who feel lonely, disconnected or overlooked.
Starting at 8am on Saturday August 22 from the Tribe Clubhouse in Oxley Ave, the Miles for Smiles Rally has been planned around a rural route.
Entrants will have pit stops, challenges and games en route to an overnight stop at the historic Linville Hotel near Blackbutt.
The camp (with some hotel rooms available) will include music, food, drinks, raffles and fun before returning to Tribe at 4pm on Sunday August 23.

“It’s all about getting people together, doing challenges and having fun together,” Ryan Elson, founder of Tribe Social Belonging, said.
“It’s a great chance to travel around, see our beautiful area. Get a great scenic view of 120km from Redcliffe all the way to The Linville Hotel.
“We’ll be doing a scavenger hunt, checking out different places, taking photos and supporting local shops along the way,
“We’ve got a great van we’re taking with us, we call it the Wild Thing which will be helping us get around … you’ve gotta come check it out!
“All you have to do is register your car! Jump in your car, come and have a laugh.”
Ryan said the Miles for Smiles Rally will fundraise and help Tribe continue to put on free community programs.
“We’ve got a lot of exciting plans coming up - live music back at the club, comedy nights, Where We Belong Festival 2027 and want people to be part of it,” he said.
Tribe Social Belonging started in 2018 with small community gatherings, but has now grown to support thousands of people each year across Queensland.
