Shaping future of Pine Rivers

The vision, investment and innovation shaping Pine Rivers will be revealed at a special leaders summit next month.

Three major business leaders - James Allan, Robert Comiskey and Chris Lude - are keynote speakers at the Pine Rivers Regional Leaders Summit.

Hosted by Pine Rivers Chamber of Commerce, the forum will be given an update on major projects in this region and what it means for local businesses.

The summit is at Pine Rivers State High School, 535 Gympie Rd, Strathpine, on Wednesday May 27, 7-8.30am.

Chamber President Jo Stevens said: “There’s so much development and opportunity”.

“This is a great chance to find out what’s going on and how local businesses can leverage off that.”

James Allan is Senior Director at Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners which is building the Supernode in Brendale.

The 30-hectare renewable-powered data storage and battery energy site will be the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere.

Robert Comiskey, director of the Comiskey Group which built and runs Eatons Hill Hotel, will give updates on the new Country Club Hotel in Strathpine.

The Comiskey Group is also preparing to start work on two new five-star hotels at Sandstone Point and North Lakes.

Chris Lude is CEO of Anaconda and Mountain Designs which is building the huge Anaconda Adventure HQ in Brendale.

This will be the largest outdoor adventure store in Australia when it opens off South Pine Rd.

Moderator will be Sorita McGrane, a First Nations consultant and economic development leader, with a question-and-answer session and networking opportunities.
