A locally based marketing agency with a growing national presence has joined Moreton Daily as a Strategic Partner, reinforcing its commitment to supporting local business and independent community journalism.
Splice Marketing, founded by CEO and Founder Ellie Bakker, operates from Brendale and specialises in marketing for healthcare organisations across Australia.
The agency works with healthcare providers, clinics and medical businesses nationwide, helping them grow while navigating the complex and highly regulated healthcare sector.
Ellie said supporting independent local news was important for both businesses and the broader community.
“Local news matters,” Ellie said.
“It’s important for us to share what’s happening in the business community and highlight the incredible things local businesses and their teams are doing.
“We employ people right here in Moreton Bay, and being part of the local business community is incredibly important to us.”
Supporting local business and community
Ellie said joining Moreton Daily as a Strategic Partner was also about backing a platform that connects businesses with the wider community.
“For a local business, it’s important to stand behind other businesses in the region,” she said.
“Businesses supporting businesses and supporting the platforms that speak to our local community is incredibly powerful.”
She said the Moreton Bay business community had played a major role in the growth of her own company since she joined the region in 2017.
“The business community here is incredibly strong,” Ellie said.
“People are welcoming, supportive and willing to share their experiences. That sense of connection is incredibly valuable as a business owner.”
Moreton Daily Partnerships Manager Lyndsay Lawler said Splice Marketing’s involvement reflected the important role local businesses play in supporting community journalism.
“Splice Marketing is a fantastic example of a locally based business making a national impact,” Lyndsay said.
“It’s wonderful to have Ellie and her team supporting Moreton Daily and helping ensure our community continues to have access to free, independent local news.”
