Tool to find business funding easier
Words by Moreton Daily

A free online tool which aims to make it easier for businesses to find funding has just been launched.

The Moreton Bay Region Funding Finder is the work of Regional Development Australia (RDA) Moreton Bay, in partnership with Moreton Bay Regional Council.

Funding Finder is an easy-to-use portal providing free access to a comprehensive database of grant and funding opportunities, including federal, state and local government grants, loans and subsidies as well as commercial funders and private philanthropic organisations.

Registering on Funding Finder gives local businesses a quick and thorough understanding of the current funding landscape and financial opportunities available to them.

It links businesses directly to funders to ensure they keep track of opportunities - even when staff and priorities change.

Businesses need only visit the website portal once to set up a profile. After that they will receive, tailored information straight to their inbox.

RDA Moreton Bay Chair Kelvin Patch says with RDA’s focus on facilitating regional economic development outcomes and connecting local businesses with funding, collaborating with Council to launch Funding Finder has been an ideal opportunity.

He says the tool is a “fantastic resource for businesses in the Moreton Bay Region, and will allow local business owners to more easily connect with the wide range of funding and grant opportunities available”.

“We were extremely pleased to be able to partner with Council to launch Funding Finder, and we strongly encourage local businesses to take advantage of this incredibly helpful resource.”

More information on the Moreton Bay Region Funding Finder can be found at https://www.rdamoretonbay.org.au/funding
