Tri series kicks-off in Redcliffe

Redcliffe Triathlon Club members were among the podium finishers at last month’s opening round of the Queensland Tri Series in Clontarf.

Steve Parnell, Rob Cordle and Murray Wilson made top spot in their respective categories on a course using the Ted Smout Bridge.

Redcliffe Triathlon Club results:

Sprint:

75-79: 1st- Steve Parnell

16-19: 2nd - Sophie Burger

65-69: 3rd - Lyn Davies

Olympic:

40-44: 1st - Rob Cordle

40-44: 3rd - Leith Austin

45-49: 3rd - Scott Milson

50-54: 3rd - Stephen Comiskey

70-74: 1st - Murray Wilson

50-54: 2nd - Caroline Little
