Construction has started on a new childcare centre in the heart of Warner.
It is being developed by Loney Bell Capital and built by Ausbuild as part of their master planned residential community, The Sanctuary.
The centre will be operated by Happy Hearts Child Care Brisbane and cater for up to 142 children from birth to school age, with a State Government-approved kindergarten program.
It is being built at 54 Warner Rd and will have eight indoor activity rooms, an outside play area, kitchen, vehicle and bicycle parking, and will be accessible for all abilities when it opens in early 2024.
Ausbuild Joint Managing Director Matthew Bell says the centre is part of Ausbuild’s commitment to providing amenities and infrastructure to the growing Warner community.
“This high-quality childcare centre will provide families moving into The Sanctuary and those in the wider Warner community with greater access to leading early learning facilities,’’ Mr Bell says.
“The centre has been designed to nurture a child’s learning process and their need for natural play. It will feature extensive flora and fauna, and the playscape will incorporate learning opportunities within that very special natural environment.’’
Happy Hearts Child Care is a family-owned company with six centres across greater Brisbane including Albany Creek and Petrie.
Happy Hearts Director Nabeel Tayob says his company’s mission is to give every child the chance to access quality early learning with a team that cares.
“Happy Hearts looks forward to serving the needs of families in the Warner community by providing their children with the best possible environment for them to flourish,’’ Mr Tayob says.
“Our approach is to create a hive of activity, immersed in nature, where memorable childhoods are created.’’
Construction is now well advanced on the first homes on the 380 approved lots at The Sanctuary.
Ausbuild has a significant footprint in Moreton Bay through its two communities, The Sanctuary in Warner and Montrose in Morayfield, which are being delivered alongside the company’s award-winning community social responsibility program.
