A residential suburb consisting of low-density housing with some acreage properties to the west of the suburb. Eatons Hill is a newly developed suburb with most of the area having been developed since the 1980s.

A creek runs through Eatons Hill known as ‘Drapers’ is a popular attraction.

One primary school is in Eatons Hill, secondary educational facilities are available in surrounding suburbs.

Eatons Hill Hotel is an award-winning destination providing a quality restaurant, multiple bars, nightclub and entertainment options to locals and visitors year-round.

History of Eatons Hill

The suburb was named after the early pioneer William Eaton, who farmed at Albany Creek from 1874 and was elected as a member of the Pine Rivers Shire Council from 1909 – 1912.
