A rural suburb of Moreton Bay Region, Highvale is positioned at the base of Mount Nebo and Mount Glorious.

The Highvale community are an active horse-riding community with many local tracks and horse-centric events on in the region.

Samford Showgrounds are located in Highvale. An annual Samford Show are held at these showgrounds with two days of non-stop, jam-packed family entertainment.
