Redcliffe Rugby Juniors were celebrating on Sunday when its Under 12 Girls 7s team won the BRJU Division Two championship.
They beat Wests 25-5 in the grand final on a day when the entire Brisbane cohort, from Under 18 to Under 12, played at the Ray Frawley Fields.
Redcliffe’s combined Under 14 Girls were also in action on a day which saw more than 30 Girls’ 7s teams and 200 players at the Clontarf venue.
Nora Maguire, Girls Rugby Co-ordinator at Redcliffe praised both the club teams saying they played with heart.
