Bribie Island
Cross the Bribie Island bridge over Pumicestone Passage and you'll find yourself relaxing as soon as you cross to the other side of this coastal paradise.
The Bribie Island area includes Banksia Beach, Bellara, Bongaree, Welsby, White Patch, Woorim, Beachmere, Donnybrook, Meldale, Toorbul, Godwin Beach, Ningi and Sandstone Point.
Nearly a third of the Island is uninhabited as it forms the Bribie Island National Park.
Bribie Island is the only Queensland island connected to the mainland by bridge. This allows easy access by car, about an hour and 20 minutes’ drive from the Brisbane Central Business District.
