Movie fans of all ages were treated to an outdoor screening of Minions: The Rise of Gru on Saturday night during the Movie in the Park Margate event.

The event was held at Barry Bolton Park, giving residents the chance to enjoy a movie under the stars.

There was free face painting, giant outdoor games and the Ausbuild community barbecue raised money for the Lions Club of Redcliffe Central.

Movie in the Park Margate was presented by Moreton Bay Regional Council and supported by major sponsors Ausbuild and Moreton Daily.

The event was part of Council’s bumper community events program for 2022.
